For Buyers

There are no Buyer fees. You pay the item price, the shipping charge, and any sales tax, all shown in U.S. dollars (USD) at checkout.

 

For Sellers

Free to list. No listing fees, no monthly fees.

 

When an item sells, only one fee is deducted from the sale:

Card processing fee | $0 to you | Paid by Agora on every sale. Nothing is deducted from your payout

 

Agora pays what our payment processor (Stripe) charges for card payments on every sale, including orders with items from more than one Seller. You don't pay any card processing fee on your sales. (The only exception is a Seller-caused refund or chargeback, explained below.)

 

Shipping. The Buyer pays a Shipping Charge at checkout, which covers the prepaid shipping label Agora buys and emails you, so it isn't part of your payout. You don't pay for the label. However, if the carrier charges more because your package was heavier or larger than the details you provided, or a replacement label is needed because of your error, that cost is deducted from your payout.

 

Example. Item Price $20.00 · Shipping Charge $5.00

- Commission: 10% × $20.00 = $2.00

- Card processing fee: $0.00 (paid by Agora)

- Shipping Charge: $5.00 covers the prepaid label Agora buys (not part of your payout)

- Your payout: $18.00 (90% of the Item Price, sent 1 day after tracking shows the order delivered. See the Seller Payout Policy.)

 

On a $100.00 item, the commission is $10.00 and your payout is $90.00.

 

When an Order Is Refunded or Cancelled

- Refund not caused by you (for example, a Buyer cancels before you ship, or a carrier loss): no commission is charged, and Agora covers the card processing fee.

- Seller-caused refund or cancellation: no commission is charged on the refunded amount. However, you pay the card processing fee (our processor doesn't return it on refunds), plus any return or replacement shipping.

- Seller-caused chargeback: you pay the disputed amount and the processor's dispute fees (currently $15 when a dispute is received and $15 if we respond to it), in addition to the above.

- Refunds after you've been paid: Payouts are sent 1 day after delivery, which can be before the Buyer's 3-day problem-report window closes. If a Seller-caused refund, return, or chargeback happens after your payout, we deduct the refunded amount and the costs above from your future payouts or invoice you. If you have no future payouts, you must repay within 14 days of our invoice.

Changes to Fees

We'll email Sellers at least 14 days before any fee change takes effect. Changes don't apply to orders placed before the effective date.
